Holy Week 2024: CSC announces half-day work suspension on March 27

In accordance with CSC Office Memorandum No. 11, s. 2024, all work activities in CSC Offices will be suspended from 12:00 noon on March 27, 2024. 

The regular operations will resume on Monday, April 1, 2024. To accommodate the upcoming holidays on March 28 (Maundy Thursday) and March 29, 2024 (Good Friday), a Half Day Flexiplace and Half Day Work Suspension are scheduled for March 27, 2024 (Holy Wednesday) at the CSC Central and Regional Offices. This initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion, conserve energy, and provide sufficient preparation time for CSC officials and employees given the anticipated increase in mobility across Metro Manila and regional areas.

During the specified Half Day Flexiplace and Work Suspension, offices with external frontline services will maintain a skeleton workforce from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to cater to clients while implementing energy-saving measures. Any planned onsite activities may be shifted to hybrid or fully virtual modes as necessary. 

Remote workers are reminded to promptly submit their Flexiplace Accomplishment Report to their supervisors upon their return to the office, ensuring continuity and accountability in work performance.
