September 2023 LET Results: Performance of Schools (Elementary Level)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces on Thursday, December 7 the results, including top performing schools in the September 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or Teachers board exam for Elementary level.

PRC conducted the second regular LET board exam this year on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in at least 40 testing centers nationwide and in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), Bohol Island State University (BISU)-Tagbilaran City and University of Santo Tomas (UST) achieved a perfect 100% passing rate in the Elementary Level, with all 52 candidates from both institutions passing the exam.

During the October 2022 LET, Philippine Normal University (PNU)-Manila stood out as the leading school for the Elementary Level, securing a 95.12% passing rate with 78 out of 82 candidates passing. Following closely, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Mulanay ranked second with a 93.67% passing rate, having 74 out of 79 candidates pass.

In both the March and June 2022 Licensure Exams for Teachers (Batch 3 and 4, respectively, representing the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), no schools met the criteria to qualify as top-performing schools in the Elementary Level.

For the Batch 2 LET in January 2022, Mindanao State University (MSU)-Marawi City emerged as the top-performing school for the Elementary Level, achieving a 90.53% passing rate with 86 out of 95 candidates passing. Bulacan State University (BatSU) - Sarmiento Campus followed with an 81.94% passing rate, having 59 out of 72 candidates pass.

During the First Batch of LET in September 2021, Cebu Technological University - Main stood out as the sole top-performing school with an 88.64% passing rate, having 78 out of 88 candidates pass.

In the teacher's board exam before the pandemic in September 2019, University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) - Tagum secured the top spot, achieving a 96.07% passing rate with 171 out of 178 candidates passing. Following closely, Bohol Island State University - Tagbilaran achieved a 95.05% passing rate, having 96 out of 101 candidates pass.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, the target release of September 2023 LET board exam result is on December 7, 2023 (Thursday) or 50 working days after the test.

September 2023 LET exam results is between November 21 and December 7, 2023 or in 40-50 working days.

Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
