September 2023 LET Results: Performance of Schools (Secondary Level)

ANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) names on Thursday, December 7 the top performing schools in the September 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or Teachers board exam for Secondary level. View here as well the performance of schools.


PRC conducted the LET on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in at least 40 testing centers nationwide and in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

SECONDARY LEVEL: The successful examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers are the following:

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS


In the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), Philippine Normal University (PNU)-Mindanao emerged as the top-performing school for Secondary Level, achieving a 98.32% passing rate with 176 out of 179 candidates passing. Following closely, PNU-Manila secured the second position with a 96.21% passing rate, having 305 out of 317 candidates successfully pass the exam.

Moving back to the October 2022 LET, University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB) and University of the Philippines-Visayas-Iloilo City held the top positions, both achieving a perfect 100% passing rate. UP-Diliman secured the second spot with an impressive 97.04% passing rate.

In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (the fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) stood out as the sole top-performing school in the Secondary Level.

During the Batch 3 LET in March 2022, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Sta. Mesa emerged as the sole top-performing school in the Secondary Level.

Shifting to Batch 2 LET in January 2022, Cebu Normal University (Cebu State College) led the Secondary Level schools with an 88.73% passing rate, having 63 out of 71 candidates pass. University of Mindanao-Tagum followed closely with an 88.46% passing rate, achieving 69 out of 78 successful candidates.

In the First Batch of LET in September 2021, West Visayas State University-La Paz topped the schools with a 91.55% passing rate, with 65 out of 71 candidates passing. Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) secured the second position with an 88.98% passing rate, having 105 out of 118 candidates pass.

Lastly, in the teacher's board exam before the pandemic in September 2019, UPLB showcased exceptional performance, securing a 98.00% passing rate with 49 out of 50 candidates passing. Ateneo de Davao University secured the second position with a 93.85% passing rate, having 61 out of 65 candidates pass.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, the target release of September 2023 LET board exam result is on December 7, 2023 (Thursday) or 50 working days after the test.

September 2023 LET exam results is between November 21 and December 7, 2023 or in 40-50 working days.

Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
